Alessia Mancini, born in Rome Janury 12th 1986, was elected Miss Lazio in the city of Tarquinia in August 2010.

Alessia is 6 feet tall, wears a size 42-44, and is a brown eyed brunette. Model, she also runs a family business, loves aerobics, cooking, singing, and shopping too; her dream is to be a showgirl because show business is her world, and she has the right numbers for it.

Italy was shocked when a blog wrote that a transgender was in Miss Italia 2010, and Alessia, number 53, was pointed as the one. Obviously she defended herself in front of everyone, during Miss Italia and after.

In an interview at "I fatti vostri" she told TV hostman Magalli: "I was shocked when I heard these rumors. Despite this, Miss Italia was a great experience, I made friends with Francesca Testasecca, my roommate and future winner of the pageant. I want to thank Miilly Carlucci, Patrizia Mirigliani -a second mother for me- and especially Guillermo Mariotto, who brought me back to heaven with his spirit. Now I just want to transform this bad experience in an occasion to gain recognition in the show business and the fashion world -where I already moved in some steps. Show business has always been my dream even if it costed me to break up with my boyfriend who didn't like my choices”.
